Birthdays Are Fun!

The only problem is they go by so quickly!

It’s strange.  It’s like Christmas, Hanuka or whatever you celebrate.  You wait for it all year long.  It’s one entire day out of 365, or 4 or 6 or whatever year it is.  On July 29th, I made sure to look at my cell phone and see that date so that I would savor it more.  I promised myself to do the same on the 30th.  And I was aware of it a few times during that day.  But all the sudden, after a romantic gondola ride and a restaurant, I am in bed falling asleep.  What happened?

Gone, zip, zoosh, flew by, bye bye, thank you Mam!  And I have to look forward to next year and add another number.  Isn’t it funny how we psych ourselves up so much for events and have them race by quickly?  Maybe there is a knob to accelerate and decelerate time.  I think it has to do with quantum physics and science.
