Those of you who know Casa Grande in Long Beach on Ocean and Livingston know what a beautiful place it is.
Unfortunately, it attracts a lot of looky lou's. A place is up for rent in our wonderful heaven and it's attracting a lot of people, walking in our gardens, poking around and even looking through our windows.
I caught one lady just now looking inside our apartments. When I confronted her, she didn't blink an eye lid and asked me what I thought of the neighborhood. At least say hello? Well, I told her she can't peek inside people's apartment. All she said was that all-too-often used and easy word to say: "Sorry".
Two nights ago, I noticed a presence in our garden by the fountain. This hip young couple were looking around. I came out and tell them that this is a private property. What I got from the man was attitude.
You know, it doesn't take much sense that stepping into a complex is private property. What's sad is that we will probably have to have a red disgraceful sign saying: "Don't bother tenants" or "Private Property". How sad on our beautiful 1928 Spanish Revival.
So whatever happen to common sense?
