Huntington Beach Concours

Well, what a fun show that Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance was.

It was our first time there and the first time we entered our very original and unmolested Milano.  And we took two third place awards!  Pretty darn amazing considering it was her first show and we never did anything to it, short of taking care of it.

A special note, I finally met Richard Blitznick who has been writing kind comments on the blog.  It was nice to meet Richard, another fellow gearhead and Realtor blogger!

p.s. watch out for our Milano in an eventual photo shoot for Hemmings Sports & Exotics!

What Difference Are You Making Today?

Discuss on ooVoo

Everyday I wake up and I want to do something.

I love to create, I love to do things and I especially like to build, and do constructive things.  Oh, sure, I wasn't always like that and there were times where I was not very constructive but I learned from it.

Still, everyday I wake up giddy at the opportunity of another day.  Sounds a little out there?  It's actually a great motivator, it's an infinite energy source.

I'm happy to do the work I do. Everyday I am of service in one way or another. I am there for friends, clients and just about anyone who needs time out to think, sort their ideas out.  I am also there, as a coach as a motivator and to hold people accountable.

So my question to you is, what difference are you making today?  This has nothing to do with having the wrong job, one that doesn't change millions of people's life for the better.  I am talking about simple things, a smile to someone on the street, a hello to someone in an elevator, a courtesy right-of-way on the road. Anything will do, from a simple thank you to the person who gets you your coffee to taking some time to just be  there for others.

It's little things like that that add up to make a huge difference in the world.  And a reminder once in a while is not a bad thing at all.
