Hum, weekends like these, I want more…

We spent a great weekend with two parties back to back on Saturday.  One was an opening at the Art Gallery 33 on Broadway.  Excellent friends and artists and a great turn out.

Then we went to our neighbor’s house where I was struck to find Jim Belushi.  Right next door to me…  Or was it the Cranberry Martinis?

It was a great evening filled with interesting conversations about Long Beach, how it used to be and how far it has come.  This lady was telling us about the 70s and 80s on 4th and Cherry.  It was lively to say the least.  Also we talked about another well kept secret I had forgotten about, the 4th street antique dealer corridor.  These guys are great and I will pay them a visit soon.  You can buy here at a fraction of a cost what you would get in LA.
