I Use To Love I Love Lucy, Long Beach

I use to love the I Love Lucy show until I grew tired of its repetitious pranks.  I never understood why I did not care for it anymore until I watched again not too long ago.  What I found was not the loving goofy, fun red haired lady that got herself into messy situations but a lady that scams and lies.  Gulp!  That is pretty harsh.

If you ever wonder how and  why TV changed America, take a look at those classics.  Whether you turn your attention to classic cartoons such as Tom ‘n’ Jerry, or I love Lucy, will give a very clear example of how millions of people grew seeing how violence can be fun and how you get away with cheating.  Ever want to see a cartoon that makes fun of the state of things?  Watch The Simpson’s.  Nothing captures more the current state of television that this wonderful cartoon.  A candid snapshot that should make you feel uneasy at times.

End of Nick realizes some shows are violent ;)

Less Well Known Facts, accroding to Gary Watts:

This year, foreclosures went up by 311%, which translates to a total number of 37!  80% were pure fraud and 20% were loans that should not have been approved.

Small but powerful…  Watch out!
